Idemili South Council Boss Receives the One Youth Two Skills Entrepreneurship Scheme Team of Facilitators and Trainees

Following the commencement of the One Youth Two Skills Entrepreneurship Sheme which is a component of the One Youth Two Skills Solution Program which is a flagship program of the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo which seeks to empower youths with vocational skills, entrepreneurship training, startup funding and access to business mentorship, the team of Facilitators for Idemili South led by Hon. Leonard Nwadike and assembled trainees and their Master Trainers where received by the Transition Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Council, Hon. Mrs. Amaka Obigigbo (Iyom Idemili) at the Idemili South LGA premises, Ojoto on Friday 14th April, 2023.

In her address, Hon. Amaka Obigigbo while receiving the facilitators and trainees extolled Mr. Governor, Prof Charles Soludo for creating this great opportunity for youths in Anambra to become business owners. She noted that the Governor had great love for youth development which he has demonstrated through various youth development programs including the One Youth Two Skills Solution Program, the Anambra Digital Skills Training Program, etc. She further stated that the governor who had already injected huge billions of naira into youth development programs is committed to fulfilling his campaign promises of raising sizable number of youth millionaires on a yearly basis. She urged the One Youth Two Skills participants to utilize the opportunities offered by the program to acquire all relevant skills required to startup and grow their businesses. She further pledged to donate the Idemili South Council Main Hall for the training.

Following the Transition Chairman’s address, Hon. Leonard appreciated Hon. Amaka Obigigbo for her warm reception and assured the Idemili South LG Council Boss, Mr. Commissioner for Youth Development and Mr. Governor that both the facilitators and trainees will put in their best to ensure the the state government’s investment in the One Youth Two Skills Solution Program who yield the desired results.

After the departure of the Transition Chairman, Hon. Leonard led the process of registering participants of the One Youth Two Skills Entrepreneurship Sheme for the Idemili South Training Center which saw the team capture photographs and other relevant data of trainees.
