The Governance of the organization is invested unto the GOYED Board of Trustees (B.O.T) also referred to as the Board of Directors.  According to the GOYED Constitution, the Board of Trustees constitute the governance board of the Organization and  are composed of selected honorary members of the organization which shall be not be less than 5 or more than 11 in number at any given time. The Board of Trustees is headed by the Chairman.

 

PROFILE OF BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEMBERS

  1. CHIEF G. O. AKAJIOBI (BOARD CHAIRMAN)

Chief G. O. Akajiobi KSM (Hon.) is a native of Awka-Etiti in Idemili South of Anambra State. He was educated at St Joseph Primary School, Awka –Etiti, 1948-1955; Prince Secondary (commercial) School, Onitsha, 1956-1960; and University of Nigeria, Nsukka  where he graduated  with  B.Sc  2nd class honors in Business Administration on June 30, 1967 just before the outbreak of the Nigerian Biafra war

He was appointed an Administrative Officer (Assistant Secretary) in the Federal Civil service on December 28, 1970.  Chief Akajiobi served in various Federal Ministries including the then Transport and Aviation; Cabinet Office (Special Duties) as Secretary;  Operation Feed the Nation (OFN); Ministry of Health; Department of Information in the then Presidency; Water Resources and Rural Development, and finally, Ministry of Industry where he spent 13years and retired on June 30, 1997 as Director Industrials Development, Co-ordination Departments and Secretary Industrial Development Co-ordination Committee.

Chief Akajiobi also served on the Board of Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as well as on boards of companies such as Anambra Motor Manufacturing Company Ltd, Enugu and Nichemtex Industries Ltd. Ikorodu, Lagos. He represented the Federal Ministry of Industry on the Governing Council of the Federal University of Agriculture, Umudike Umuahia, and now Micheal Okpara University for a number of years.

Chief Akajiobi is also a Published author with many publications.

Chief Akajiobi, during his 27 year as Administrative Officer, travelled widely in Africa, Europe, America and Asia. He s a member of the Honoured Order of the knight of Mulumba. He is also an Ozo title holder, a member of Igwe’s Cabinet in Awka-Etiti as well as the Onowu Ndigbo in Abuja. He belongs to a number of social clubs including, Awka-Etiti Social Club and Awka-Etiti Action League.

Ichie Akajiobi is the current Board of Trustees Chairman of Global Organisation for Youth Enlightment and Development

 

  1. Engr. Peter U. Ifedi (BOARD MEMBER)

Engr. Peter U. Ifedi (KSM) is a native of Awka-Etiti and holds a B.sc and HND in Electrical/ Electrical Engineering. Engr Peter is a member of the Licensed Electrical Contractors Association of Nigeria and has over 30 years of experience working in the engineering sector in which he offer Electrical Engineering design consultancy, Electrical Installations consultancy; building, generator, transformer, rural electrifications etc.

Engr. Peter has strong passion for God’s work and community development which has seen him serve in various voluntary and elected positions in the church and his native Awka-Etiti community. He is a patron of Boy Scout of Nigeria, St Joseph Parish, Awka-Etiti; former Chairman Harvest and Barzaar Committee, St Joseph  Parish church Awka-Etiti; former Secretary of Catholic Men Organization, Holy Spirit Parish, Omagba. He was also a former Secretary General to the Awka- Etiti Improvement (AIU).

Engr. Peter is successfully married with children and is a member of the Honored Order of the knight of St. Molumba (KSM), former Zonal Leader of KSM, Omagba Sub-council and current P.R.O. Engr. Peter is a board  member of  the Global Organization for youth Enlightenment  and Development (GOYED) and is the current Chairman /CEO of UCIF Engineering Service Ltd.

 

  1. MR. IKECHUKWU MARIA N.H. OKOYE (BOARD MEMBER)

Mr. Ikechukwu Maria N.H. Okoye is a native of Ojoto in Anambra State. He holds an M.Sc as well as has his PhD Marketing in View from the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus. He also has an NBA and HND in Business Administration.

He has over 30yrs of professional experience in business, management and training services service in which he has distinguished himself in human resources development, training of filed marketers and entrepreneur.

He has also served on voluntary bases and holds various community based appointments including; YOUWIN Mentor (September 2013 to date), National Secretary Association for Moral Education, Nigeria (January 2015 to date), National Secretary Out na ahumaka Asusu n’Omenala Igbo, Nigeria (October 2015 to date), President United Elites Association of Ojoto (UNEALO), Anambra State (November 2011 to date), General Secretary, Progressive Union Ojoto, Anambra State (December 2014 to date).

Mr. Ikechukwu is affiliated to various professional institutions including; Association for Moral Education, Nigeria; member Institute of Development Finance and Project Management; Associate member, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria; Associate member, Nigerian Institute of Management Chartered.

Mr. Maria has various publications including textbooks, journals and papers. Amongst his various outstanding achievements include; successful introduction of FLOXACID (Pharmaceuticals) into Abuja, Oyo and Osun states markets, Nigeria (2001-2004); successful reintroduction of TOTAL LIBERTY table water into Lagos market, Nigeria (2005); Successful review of cargo operations in Nigeria Airways Ltd vis-à-vis world air freight market (which led to the birth of Sky Power Cargo), (1980-1981); Successful reorganization of the training unit of University of Nigeria Nsukka Center for Entrepreneurship and Development Research/Central Bank of Nigeria/Entrepreneurship Development Center South East, Onitsha (2011-2014), and participation in the CBN/EDC Entrepreneurship curriculum development (2012).

Mr. Ikechukwu Maria is a board  member of  the Global Organization for youth Enlightenment  and Development (GOYED).

  1. 4.  SIR IGNATIUS C. NDUKA (BOARD MEMBER)

Sir Ignatius C. Nduka is a native of Amichi in Anambra State and holds a BSc in Biochemistry (1981) from the University of Ibadan, and HND Accountancy (1995) from the Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra state.

Sir Nduka has over 30 years of working experience in which he has served in various academic institutions. Before retiring from active service in 2009, he was the principal of various schools; Army Day Secondary School, Achina (2004-2006), Christ the King College (CKC), Onitsha (2006-2008), and again Army day secondary School, Onitsha (2008-2009). Currently, he has founded an academic institution and also offers consultancy services in accountancy.

Sir Nduka is a member of various professional societies notably; Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN), Anambra Chapter; Justice, Development and Peace Commission (J.D.P.C)/Caritas Holy Spirit, Omagba Chapter, Onitsha. He is also a member of the honored order of Knight of St. John International (KSJI) Commandary, 438, Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, Onitsha. Sir Nduka is happily married with children.

  1. 5. LADY PATRICIA OBIAGELI OKEKE (NEE OZOH) (BOARD MEMBER)

Lady Patricia is a native of Eziora Village in Adazi-Ani, Anambra State and holds a B.Ed in Adult Education from University of Nigeria Nsukka (1990), NCE in English/Health and Physical Education from Alvan Ikoku College of Education, Owerri (1977). She has also been awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in 2014.

Lady Patricia has over 32 years working experience in the education sector and has held the following management positions: 1st Vice Principal (Academic Matters), Ado Girls Secondary School, Onitsha (1978 – 1993); Proprietress/Principal, Supreme Knowledge comprehensive Schools, Nkpor-Agu (1991 – date); Proprietress, Supreme Knowledge Comprehensive Schools, Odoakpu Onitsha (1993 – date).

Lady Patricia has passion for religious work and community development works and has served at various leadership capacities in various religious and not-for-profit organizations including: member Knight of St. Christopher (1996), member Adazi-Ani Town Union Scholarship Board (2002), Patron Girls Guide, St. Jude’s Church, Adazi (2004), Member Women’s Guide, Anglican Communion (1991 – date), CEO Greener Walk (1991- date), Director Inter Government Relations.

She has also served in various national and international institutions including: Chair person Anambra State Government Approved Schools association (1999 – 2003); President, OMEP Nigeria (2011 – date); Member, Strategic Planning Advisory Committee UBE, Abuja (2005 – date); Member Anambra State Health Management Board (2007 – date); Member Anambra State Universal Basic education Board (2014).

Lady Patricia is happily married with children and sits as a board member of Global Organization for Youth Enlightenment and Development.

 

  1. BARR. MRS. NETOCHUKWU FRANCISCA NWADIKE (BOARD MEMBER)

Barr. Francisca hails from Enugu State and holds a B.LL from Madonna University, Okija, Anambra State. She is a Legal Practitioner with over 7 years of experience in the Nigeria legal system. She is currently an associate at Onyukwu Nwadike & Co Chambers, Barristers and Solicitors of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

Barr. Francisca is the legal adviser to Global Organization for Youth Enlightenment and Development and is also a board member of the organization.
